Traditionally, risk management strategies and methods have been developed and applied to areas such as: manufacturing processes, product quality, deviation reporting, CAPA (Corrective and Preventive Action) programs, etc.
What if they don't?
It would seem logical that there are benefits to be gained by the application of risk management strategies to the areas of Information Technology (IT) and IT Quality. However, many of the traditional risk management strategies and methods do not translate directly into the IT arena.
